The church sets a high priority with regard to its work with young people and was a specific focus for the church during the millennial year. They are the church of the here and now as well as the church of the future and we greatly value what they have to offer us. Their vibrant life breathes the life of the spirit into our church.
On most Sundays children join the congregation for the first part of the service which we aim to focus at their needs. They are then most welcome to join either the creche or the Sunday School.
Creche facilities are available on a Sunday morning during the service for children aged from a few months to three years. The creche leader is Lisa Edwards.
Sunday School also meets on a Sunday morning with two main age groups. The children aged 3-6 meet in one of the small rooms whilst the seven pluses meet in the church hall. Ken Burley is our Sunday School leader.

Fun Club meets in the church hall on a Friday evening between 7-00 and 8-00. It is open to all those aged between 7 and 11 years and is an evening on which children are free to choose a range of activities including crafts, games, football, table tennis, snooker, football, disco or just chatting with each other. There is a regular team of around 15 leaders who share responsibility for a club, which regularly attracts over 80 youngsters every Friday during term time.
