Many people, after a time, feel the need to know more about the faith which we share and seek to develop their spirituality by study or fellowship. At our church we try to facilitate this by providing various opportunities.
Prayer Group:-For those who wish to meet for prayer, as a practical application of their faith, or because they have something which concerns them and which they wish to be prayed for, can come along to church every Wednesday evening when a group meet specifically for this purpose.
Bible study is organised by St. Mary's church for members of both congregations, meetings are held in members' houses.
Lenten Study Series: The theme 2006 was 'Fancy grabbing a hot potato? and offered the opportunity to consider some current issues. Each week a well-qualified guest speaker talked about a topic of social concern. At the break jacket potatoes were served, then there was a time for questions and debate. In 2007 the theme was focused on 'Fresh Expressions' and speakers who had written on the subject or organised events related to this movement helped us understand some of the key issues. These events are organised by 'churches together in Sprotbrough'.
Other Events: Please read the notices for other events either organized by our church or in conjunction with 'churches together in Sprotbrough'. Again these are usually to be found on the current events page.
A Focus for Growth

Church Celebration Weekend:- Each year we celebrate the life of our church and our work in the community. On the Sunday our young people help to lead us in worship together. The following images reflect some of the activities in which we have been engaged
